Clay Jam is a beautiful arcade game developed using 'claymation', meaning everything you see on the screen is actually a handmade clay model that you can interact with freely in many different ways. Other titles that have used this brilliant technique include The Neverhood and Skullmonkeys.
Graphics aside, Clay Jam is a simple arcade game where you control a ball that you can move around the screen, making holes in the clay floor with your fingertips. When the ball falls into one, it will follow in the direction of the hole and then accelerate.
While it moves, one of your objectives will be to squash as many bugs as you can. Each time you move your ball over another clay creature it will absorb it and become larger. In total, you can find more than 20 different enemies, all perfectly modeled by hand.
Clay Jam is a wild game with absolutely gorgeous graphics. And best of all, besides being beautiful, its simple but effective gameplay makes it very fun.
